About Cognistase

Cognistase wasn't started by Silicon Valley technologists looking for an open market. It was founded by parents and clinical professionals who spent years fighting a system that simply isn't built to understand asynchronous development.

The Breaking Point

Our founders spent years sitting across from well-meaning educators who looked at comprehensive clinical diagnoses and said, "But he seems fine to me." We realized that schools don't have the tools to map the jagged developmental profiles of highly gifted children. The software out there was built for neurotypical trajectories, and it failed our kids.

Then came the explosion of AI. Suddenly, parents were trying to use consumer AI tools to write IEPs, and schools were outright rejecting them because they were full of hallucinations and generic advice. Meanwhile, waitlists for real neuropsychological evaluations ballooned to 18 months.

That was our breaking point. Parents were trapped between useless schools, 18-month clinical waitlists, and dangerous consumer AI.

We realized we had to build something new: a system that possessed the deterministic safety of a clinical tool, but the speed and accessibility of modern technology. A system that makes the invisible visible, safely.

Advocacy Through Evidence

Our mission is to give exhausted parents clear, solid clinical evidence. We want to take the pain out of the advocacy process. You shouldn't need a law degree or a background in neuropsychology to make sure your child gets the support they're legally entitled to.

We're working toward a world where asynchronous development is mapped early and addressed proactively, instead of years of academic masking, sensory trauma, and misdiagnosis.

We don't guess. When our software identifies a developmental gap, it's based on standard psychometric calculations, not generated by a general-purpose AI.

Real Privacy

Children's developmental data should never be a product. We run entirely on private EU servers, completely separated from third-party data brokers and public AI training.

Parent-First Design

We built Cognistase for the most exhausted person in the room: the parent fighting for their kid. Our design focuses on clarity, empathy, and giving you what you need to walk into that school meeting prepared.
